THIS COMBINES ALL OF MY FAVORITE THINGS. LOVE LOVE FOREVER AND EVER.

i think i’ll be taking it easy from here on out.

spring weekend.

i still can’t believe it wasn’t a dream.

juliasegal:

‘Turn it off man! Turn it off! It’s sucking my will to live! Oh, the humanity!’

Dana Carvey as Garth Algar in Wayne’s World

it sucks, and it cuts!

i can't believe i just logged into tumblr while drunk.

everything i looked at was hilarious.

Tonight:

Good times were had.

Goodbyes were sad.

umm..so the “everything’s good, everything’s groovy” song in the comcast(?) commercials was apparently made up JUST for the commercial? I’m so disappointed. I wanted to download it.

my life is full of excitement and wonder at every turn.

Watched this tonight.

Spectacular film. I’m even going to go a step further and say that it was better than The Godfather.

My roommates and I LOVED this quote. We simply found it hilarious. Since, you know, since the dawn of time grapefruits have been considered the most basic of all staples of life. You want to survive in the wilderness and the first thing you thing of is “Well first i have to find some beer and grapefruit, and if i’m able to, some weed and some ice and i can live out here for WEEKS.”

it was definitely in my facebook quotes at some point.

Blazer win.

Today was a day that I thought would be crappy and useless, but it turned out quite wonderful. All thanks to the magical store that is Good Will.

I’ve been meaning to go to Good Will for a while now, it’s just something i do periodically for no particular reason. Usually i end up buying two oversized tees that i attempt to reconstruct into a mini-dress. Today i went in without an agenda, not in the best mood either, since i had driven up and down route 1 trying to find the place.

Within 5 minutes, I found an adorable black and grey vest, a black and white striped tank top from the Gap, and the best find of all, a blue blazer.

Now, the reason this is so significant is because i recently purchased a blue blazer from Hollister, my place of employment. the blazer came to us as a return, and since it was so adorable, all the girls tried it on but for some reason they all told me that i needed to buy it. so i did. because i give into peer pressure like that. it was $50. i figured the price would be worth it, because it is such a versatile piece that i would wear forever. I get home and realize, um, this jacket is way too short for me. all of my shirts stuck out underneath it, making it look stupid. I decided i would take it back.

so this new blazer is the same color, the right length and is a perfect fit..FOR $19.99!! HA.

I stand in line to purchase my things and an old woman behind me hands me a 50% off for one item coupon. I try to politely decline, but she says, “Oh, but it expires soon! I don’t want it to go to waste!” and i am amazed at the amount of good karma this woman now has.

Total for the things came to $20. I left there feeling amazing.

On top of that, i found a parking spot at work today.

It wasn’t so much the clothes that brightened my day, as it was the unexpected generosity of strangers.
