one more thing...

it’s my 5 ½ year anniversary today!

and yes. i still get excited when ½ anniversaries roll around. STILL.

next anniversary i’ll probably retell the tale of how we got together. if you had to ask me, what are the defining stories of my life, that would be number one. it’s a great story.

hopefully i’ll remember to take pictures this halloween. hahaha.

beginning phases of halloween costume #1…it’s pretty obvious what i am, i think. (and nope, i have no idea what i’m doing with my right hand either.)

i’m going to UCONN the day after tomorrow. i cannot wait.

this is the happiest thing i’ve ever seen. i’m totally baking one. and i’ll take pictures. that is a promise.

Bangs envy. i really want my bangs back…except i keep forgetting that my hair doesn’t allow that. :P

I know I did. I definitely regret that. But high school was so irritating that I don’t even think I would do it over again to change it for the better.

Ok, how can i get the Vitamin String Quartet to play at my wedding? because….it just needs to happen. Fuck having a DJ, these guys probably have “electric slide” and “we are family” in their repertoire as well.

well….?

not bad, eh? for a first timer! I made the first cut on wednesday night, by tying my hair back into a ponytail down my back, then snipping the end of it off. Which worked, but then it became apparent that it was much shorter in the back than in the front, so today i evened it out and gave my side bangs a trim. it’s all not 100% perfect, but i didn’t really expect/care for it to be. i feel accomplished.

now enjoy this cutesy picture of me. (i’m wearing a tank top because i’ve kept my room at a toasty 85 degrees. it is 44 degrees outside and cloudy and windy, currently.)(BUT I DON’T CARE! AIN’T NOTHIN GONNA BRING ME DOWN. WELCOME TO THE NORTHEAST.)

it’s just too much. can you see how dead my ends are? that’s because i burned them off while grilling sometime this summer. and i’ve just let them growwwww.

and for a while that worked. i was rocking the grungy hippie hair.

well folks, if i’m ever going to be a serious broadcast journalist, i realized that i must do away with the grungy hippie hair, as i’m calling it. i realized this while looking at footage of the show that i recently filmed that was also recently put online.

I look pretty good…except for my split ends.

i’m going to actually get it styled in november or december sometime. but i’ll try my hand at cutting it myself tonight. nothing drastic, just the ends. i am so pumped. you can totally tell how much excitement i have going on in my life by how much thought i’ve put into this recent endeavor of mine.

PS. i am at work. i don’t plan on getting to bed tonight until 3.
