Well hello there. It has been a little while.
I:
Started classes, attended the opening of the new gym, have been doing lots of yoga and pilates recently, started to make meditation a part of my daily life, have been inspired by interior design and intricate hairstyles, have not been crafting, but been getting lots of ideas, have worn mostly yoga pants in the past week, am not used to doing work and using my brain again, had a fantastic first (four-day) weekend back, have a schedule that consists of only four classes, have been counting my blessings every morning, have not been spending any money whatsoever (that’ll change soon), started working at RSR again, have fallen behind on movie watching and book reading, will be attempting the Ab Ripper workout tomorrow instead of going to the gym, attended Gala’s UStream workshop, and now feel quite energized and full of love, want to go into the city soon, want an excuse to use my cute bubble umbrella (tomorrow it will happen), want to add sundried tomatoes to everything that I eat, saw The Social Network again and I think it is still wonderful but my Oscar favorites this year have been Black Swan and The King’s Speech, have to start taking pictures again and posting my adventures, have stopped the hair-dying madness because I’ve found a color that is perfect (Special Effects in Devilish Red), and it also looks great as it fades away, have not been sleeping very well, have an urge to buy a ukelele, already know what I’m wearing to the next NYCC, want to start making musical youtube videos, am going to buy a blender so I can make delicious fruit smoothies everyday, am greatly anticipating the springtime, have adapted a very optimistic outlook on life, have a fully stocked fridge, have a cute boyfriend that’s 150 miles away from me, have an urge to create, have an urge to eat lots of chocolate, will be embarking on a few month-long projects soon.
So there was a confusing stream-of-consciousness update on my life. I’m determined to get back onto this blogging bandwagon.
THIS is back in my life.
I wish.

Love how Poole looks like our proud papa.
2011 To-Do List
One resolution for each month, and one for good luck.
-Have my very first cup of coffee. It has to be top-notch, or it doesn’t count.
-Visit Boston
-Attend (and participate in?) the Coney Island mermaid festival
-NYCC
-Visit Strawberry Fields
-Boyfriend will teach me
1. How to box
2. How to play chess
3. How to drive a stick shift.
-Make a comic strip
-Compliment a stranger everyday.
-Become a winemonger.
-Always have a good book to read.
-Wear the rainbow sequin dress. I have a rainbow sequin dress that I bought freshman year and I love it, but I have never worn it outside my room. 2011 is the year that I will wear that dress.
-Donate more. Time, money, things.
-Go to more yard sales.
This is a sushi roll that I ate for lunch today.
It looks really scary, but it was so delicious and flavorful.
Inside: rice, avocado, mango, shrimp.
Outside: tuna, pink sheet of soy, 3 kinds of spicy sauces. Then torched. Then scallions and caviar.
Its not on the menu, either. The chef is still trying to come up with a name for it.
