Some Things I Love:

- Taking a hot bath while watching the snow fall. Ughh.
- The sound of my dog snoring.
- Oysters.
- Having strange dreams that feel as though they are an excerpt from a nightmare, and always waking up right before something terrifying happens.

- My boyfriend’s new HOUSE.
- Driving around with friends, listening to old school J-Lo. (You should really try it sometime.)
- Being home.
Ever notice how so many Ghibli films begin inside of a car on a moving day, transporting the characters (and you) to a whole new world?
At first I didn’t understand why people think this is such a depressing book- the first half is extremely witty. I found myself falling in love with her language, underlining phrases on every other page for their humor and imagery. But there is a tangible shift about midway through the book, and I began to recoil from it a little bit. I eventually had read it with one hand over my heart the whole time.
